Field-oriented control of a PMSM

Tutorial n°7
This example shows a control implementation for an electric motor drive based on a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The control is implemented using conventional Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and uses a rotary position/speed encoder connected to the variable-speed drive controller (BoomBox). This example shows:
- Use of the Simulink blockset
- Use of position sensors with the BoomBox
New information related to the latest digital controller is also available on the knowledge base.
