Single-phase inverter with Fictive Axis Emulation (FAE)
Tutorial n°2
This tutorial shows an example of vector current control (DQ-type current control) for a single-phase power converter. This implementation is rather unusual as single-phase inverters require the emulation of a fictive axis in order to decouple the active and reactive power flows, as usual for three-phase converter topologies. This example illustrates how the BoomBox libraries can help with the implementation of control code. It addresses:
- Use of the control libraries (routines, PLLs, etc.)
- Implementation of a basic state machine
- Fictive Axis Emulation (FAE) – New knowledge base
