Simplify your designs with the new PEB-800-40 SiC half-bridge power module. This single, highly versatile module is designed to cover both high-current and fast-switching applications, superseding both the PEB8038 and PEB8024. With upgraded on-board protections, research engineers get superior performance and enhanced safety in one package.
Short-term overload capability
Instead of a fixed threshold, the new module features I²t overcurrent protection, hence allowing for short-term transients of up to 200% of the nominal rating for up to 500 ms.
Smart protections
The protection logic monitors the operating point in real time to dynamically enforce the Safe Operating Area (SOA) based on the DC voltage, switching frequency, and duty cycle.
1.6 kVDC-capable design
Thanks to improved isolation, modules can be operated with a grounded DC terminal, or stacked in applications operating up to 1.6 kVDC.
Improved sensors
The onboard sensors deliver superior signal integrity in difficult operating conditions and are automatically identified by the B-Box 4.
